Abrams to serve on ANSI - GBI Standards Development Committee
Alan Abrams AIBD, was recently selected to serve on the Site Planning Subcommittee of the ANSI - Green Building Initiative Standards Development Committee. The committee's mission is to review the Green Globes Rating System, for use as an objective standard of green building. Green Globes is a rating system primarily intended for commercial buildings. This process will take at least 16 months to complete. The result will be the first green building rating system recognized as a standard by the American National Standards Institute.
